So even the evil Jews, the Catholics and the Muslims can be saved. Even President Obama and Michelle can be saved, but I can’t see that happening.
In all actuality, President Obama, his wife and Hillary Clinton should all be put in prison for treason, but I don’t see that happening either.

Summary: Israel in the Last Days
1 At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.
31:1-40 – continuing the theme of restoration begun in 30:1, Jeremiah records the words of the Lord to:
(1) all the people of god,
(2) the restored northern kingdom of Israel,
(3) the restored southern kingdom of Judah and
(4) Israel and Judah together.
Epilogue, vv 38-40 – each section begins with the words “Behold, the days come.”
2 Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.
“People which were left of the sword” – the righteous remnant who will return from captivity.
“Wilderness” – the Arabian Desert, the antitype of the Sinai wilderness through which Israel’s ancestors marched after the exodus. Return from exile is often pictured as or compared to release from Egyptian slavery at the time of the exodus.
“Israel” – the northern kingdom. Other names for it are Samaria, Ephraim, Jacon and Rachel.
3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn thee.
4 Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.
“Tabrets” – that is “tambourines,” which were used in joyful occasions, especially after following a military victory.
5 Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
“Samaria” – conquered in 722-721 B.C., it would someday be resettled by God’s people.
“Plant and shall eat them as common things” – the idea is that they will enjoy eating them since the law stipulated that the fruit of a tree could not be eaten until the fifth year after planning it, a return to normalcy is envisioned here.
6 For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.
“Ephraim…to Zion” – in the days of Jeroboam I, the people of the northern kingdom had been required to worship at northern shrines. In the future, they would worship the Lord only in Jerusalem.
7 For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.
8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.
9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
10 Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.
11 For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.
12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
14 And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD.
15 Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.
Quoted in Matt 2:18, where Herod’s orders to kill all the male infants in Bethlehem and all its vicinity (Matt 2:16) are stated to be a fulfillment of this passage.
“Ramah” – located about five miles north of Jerusalem, it was one of the towns through which Jerusalem’s people passed on their way to exile in Babylon.
“Rachel” – Jacobs favorite wife and the grandmother of Ephraim and Manasseh, the two most prominent and power tribes in the northern kingdom. The name is used here to personify that kingdom.
16 Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
17 And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.
18 I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God.
19 Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.
20 Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.
21 Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.
22 How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.
23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.
24 And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.
25 For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
26 Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.
27 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.
28 And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.
29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.
“The fathers…set on edge” – repeated in Eze 18:2. This was apparently a popular proverb that originated in a misunderstanding of such passages as Ex 20:5 and Num 14:18, which teach that a man’s sins can have a negative effect on his descendants.
In the time of Jeremiah and Ezekial, many people felt that God’s hand of judgment against them was due not to their own sins, but to the sins of their ancestors.
30 But everyone shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
“Everyone shall die for his own iniquity” – See Deut 24:16; Eze 18:3, 20, 33:7-18. Although group or collective responsibility is an important concept, Jeremiah and Ezekiel emphasize individual responsibility as both preparation and explanation for the imminent destruction of Jerusalem, which is the people might have been tempted to blame on the sins of their forefathers.
31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
“The days come” the phrase often refers to the Messianic era.
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
“Covenant that I made with their fathers” – the covenant at Sinai eventually became known as the “old covenant” (2 Cor 3:14) or “first covenant” (Heb 8:7, 9:15,18).
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
“Teach no more…his neighbor” – when the Lord has done His new work there will no longer be among His people those who are ignorant of Him and His will for human lives. True knowledge of the Lord will be shared by all – young and old, the peasant and the powerful.
35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me forever.
Just as God’s creation order is established and secure, so also Israel will always have descendants, but not all Jews are of God’s Jews, some are of the devil.
37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.
38 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.
39 And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.
40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more forever.
Not everyone on earth is a child of God, yet only God is the creator.
“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominions or principalities or powers: all things were created by him and for him” (Col 1:16).
There is no other God, only Him:
“For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD and there is none else” (Isa 45:18).
This does not necessarily mean that He personally created it, but nothing is created without Him allowing it to happen and I will explain this.
God didn’t just create earth, he created the universes, the stars, everything (Gen 1:1-3, 6-8, 14-16).
God even created evil:
“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace and create evil: I the LORD so all these things” (Isa 45:7).
Does that mean that God personally created evil? Yes He did because without Him creating it no one would know it existed. Yet, God didn’t put evil on earth, the devil brought it down.
Why would God create evil? God has given us freewill, to be good or evil. The same as when He made the angels, He gave them freewill and to give them freewill He had to show them the difference between good and evil.
God loves everyone (John 3:16), but only those who are born again are children of God.
There was a Jew, Nicodemus, that wanted to know how he could go to heaven when he died.
“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Nicodemus saith unto him, how can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb and be born?
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, excepta man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel and knoweth not these things?
Verily, verily I say unto thee, we speak that we do know and testify that we have seen and ye receive not our witness.
If I have told you earthly things and ye believe not how shall ye believe if I tell you of heavenly things?
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but the hat came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
And as Moses lifted up the serpent (Num 21:9) in the wilderness, even so much the Son of man be lifted up:
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life” (Jn 3:3-5, 9-15).
“…I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me” (Jn 14:6).
When Satan was booted out of heaven (Isa 14:12-15) he and the angels that became evil with him came to earth and they were not happy campers (Rev 9). I have no idea if God created Adam and Eve before he kicked Satan out or if He kick Satan out first, but that’s not important.
Adam and Eve didn’t know anything about evil, but the devil introduced it to Eve. And I believe the devil seduced Eve and Adam is not the father of Cain.
For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother… (1 Jn 3:11-12).
“…he that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one” (Matt 13:38).
It appears to me that the world is filled of God’s children and the devil has children as well.
Who are God’s Children?
God’s children are those that believe that Jesus is who He said He is, that He was:
Born of a virgin
“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel” (Isa 14:7, see Matt 1:18-23).
Died for us
But God commandeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Rom 5:8).
Resurrected for us.
“…I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, thought he were dead, yet shall he live:
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die…” (Jn 11:25-26).
The Apostle John explains it here:
“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother” (1 Jn 3:1-10).
Can Satan’s children be saved? I believe so because God loves everyone and He says:
“Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?” (Eze 33:11).
I believe the above scripture pertains to everyone on earth. God is a gracious God, but if you choose to be selfishness and greediness over love than you are not of God and you will go to hell with the devil.
“Beloved, let us love one another for love is of God, and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
In this way manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world that we might live through him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins” (1 Jn 4:7-10).
Even if someone is from the seed of Satan they can be born-again (Jn 3:3, as noted above).
Because of Satan we are all born into sin with a one way ticket to Hell in hand. But we all become children of God IF we are saved because we are adopted into God’s family through our relationship with Jesus Christ, but you can only be saved if you are born-again.
To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba Father (Gal 4:5-6).
“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will” (Eph 1:4-5).
Anyone that has accepted Jesus into their heart is saved and there is no need to worry about anything.
I’ll never understand how You can love everybody, but of course, I’m not You.
According to Daniel some people will spend eternity with You and some with Satan.
“And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, an some to shame and everlasting contempt.
And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever” (Dan 12:2-3).
