Crucifixion

“For the life of the flesh is the blood: And I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul (Lev 17:11).

“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Tim 2:5-6).

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by  his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through the faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God” (Rom 3:23-25).

“And for this cause, he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance” (Heb 9:15).

“And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.  So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation” (Heb 9:22 & 28).
